2012 U.S. Army All-American wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham of Hillcrest (Springfield, Mo.) High School was named the U.S. Army All-American Bowl High School Player of the Week, for the week ending October 29. The 6-foot-6, 225-pound senior went into the record books on Thursday, catching 11 balls for 303 yards and four touchdowns, making him the new national career record holder for receiving yards with 6,110 yards. Green-Beckham surpassed the mark set by Abram Booty of Evangel Academy (Shreveport, La.) of 5,867 yards set in 1993-96. The U.S. Army All-American accounted for a total of 24 points in a lopsided 35-7 victory over Republic (Mo.) High School.
