The U.S. Army All-American Bowl High School Player of the Week is Joel Kimpela of Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. In the Class 5A Division I area-round game played at Cowboys Stadium before a crowd of 30,000 fans, undefeated Texas powerhouses Trinity and Allen battled in a close game. It was Kimpela's 32 carries for 345 yards and two touchdowns that made the difference. Kimpela, who has 2,000 yards rushing this season, credited his offensive line for his success. Trinity went on to record a 28-21 victory. Next up for Trinity is the 5A Division I Region I semifinal.
